Proposed Admission Arrangements 2023-2024 Under Consultation

Dear All,

 

 

In accordance with the DfE’s School Admissions Code, Thomas Barnes Primary wishes to hear your views on its proposed admission arrangements for 2023/2024.

 

We would like to confirm that there are no changes proposed to the admission arrangements and that we are merely consulting as it has been some time since we heard your views. Your opinions are important to us and we are keen to receive your comments on the arrangements before they are formally approved.

 

The consultation will close on 4th January 2022.

School Admissions Code states that top priority must be given to looked after and previously looked after children, including internationally adopted previously looked after children (IAPLAC)

Appeals: 

You have the right to lodge a formal appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel if you have been refused a place at your preferred Staffordshire school and you are dissatisfied with the school place offered.

Appeals Timetable:

The last date to appeal for September 2021 intake is 18th May.

You will be given at least 14 days' notice of an appeals hearing which will take place on 15th June.
