School Uniform at Thomas Barnes Primary School

Uniform can be purchased at SK School Uniforms, Price & Buckland and SchoolWear UK.  

Day Uniform

• Black trousers or black pleated skirt or black pinafore dress.
• White polo shirt with TBPS logo or plain white polo shirt.
• Green jumper or green cardigan with TBPS logo or plain green jumper or cardigan.
• In warmer weather, summer dress (green and white gingham) or black smart shorts please.
• Black shoes - velcro fastenings. Children should not be wearing shoes with laces unless they can do them up independently. Also, no trainers unless it is a PE day.

PE Kit

• Green and white t-shirt with TBPS logo or a plain white t-shirt
• PE half-zip overtop (fleece lining) with TBPS logo or a plain black zip-up hoodie
• Black shorts or jogging bottoms. Please, no small gym shorts.
• White socks only.
• White trainers only. Again, children should not be wearing footwear with laces unless they can do them up independently. 

Hair

• Hair beyond shoulder length must be tied back.
• Hair accessories must be green or black and any bows should be only of a modest size.
• Brades or beads tied into hair from holidays abroad are not allowed.

Earrings

• Studs only. Please consider carefully when you choose to pierce ears as it may preclude children from taking part in PE lessons. Children must be able to remove earrings by themselves as staff are unable to help. No other jewellery should be worn.

• We encourage children to wear a watch, but please no smart watches.
